Guided Meditation Hypnosis

I’ve been meaning to record a guided meditation hypnosis for a while now, and I finally got around to it! (Yay!) This one is designed to get you into a theta brainwave which is where you need to be for hypnosis. This theta meditation is based on the meditation taught by the beautiful Vianna Stibal, who created Theta Healing many years ago. I’ve adapted it over the years to make this one my own.

What to expect from a guided meditation?

This one includes some focused body relaxation and deep breathing which will make you feel calm and relaxed. It also includes some visualization work but if you’re not good at visualizing, please don’t let that put you off! You will still get benefits if you just conceptualize rather than visualize. By the end of this meditation, you should feel calm, peaceful and clear!

What are the benefits of meditating?

There are too many too mention! However, lower stress levels, a clearer mind, more control over your overactive thoughts, less reactivity, higher intuition, feeling more connected and more peaceful are just a few benefits. As always, the consistency of practice is where you see the results!

What is the theta brainwave?

Well, as well as being the brainwave you need to access for hypnosis, it’s also a beautiful space free from the busy mind and endless chatter. You can connect with your higher self and inner, divine guidance here. It’s easier to connect with than you might imagine, so give it a go!

Can I meditate if I have anxiety?

If you have strong anxiety, this may be heightened in the beginning as you start to bring your awareness onto your body. The trick is to keep coming back to the breath and focusing on the word “calm” or the feeling of ‘safe’. If you can stick with it, you’ll eventually teach (or reteach) your system to relax as you breathe deeply. Practice makes perfect, so you need to make meditation a regular practice to get the benefits and heal anxiety!

Let’s begin!

Find a nice comfortable place to relax, undisturbed for the next 20 minutes. Enjoy! xx
