The things we do unconsciously everyday is who we are. Most of us (I hope!) shower everyday, without truly thinking about it. We just do it as a habit and thankfully, it’s a good habit that serves us. Imagine if exercise, eating well and meditation were all a part of our daily habits. We’d be much healthier, happier people. Habits are formed in our subconscious mind. It’s the things we do every single day without consciously thinking about it, that become who we are.
Hypnotherapy and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
In our practice as hypno-psychotherapists, we are trained in CBT and we use it in most sessions to gain a clear image of the issue at hand, blocks and fears around weight loss, and we can quickly form a clear path to success in regards to changing those unhealthy habits and turning them into positive, healthy habits.
A major study (Kirsch, Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 1996) discovered that when hypnosis was combined with CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy) for weight loss, the average loss was approximately 2.7 kg without hypnosis and 6.75 kg with hypnosis. A deeper analysis has shown that the benefits of hypnosis increase over time.

When it comes to weight loss, every client is unique and has a different history and triggers. We take the time to listen to and work with each client and help them to piece together health plan that works for them.
What’s involved in a weight loss hypnotherapy package?
As with all treatments, we begin with a free 15-minute intro session to meet, connect, discuss hypnotherapy sessions and create a plan together. In this session, if you choose to begin the weight loss package, you’ll also receive a general MP3 with a weight loss hypnotherapy recording which you can use to start reprogramming your subconscious to think in alignment with your weight loss goals. Weight loss packages are tailored to the individual (including price), but usually a 6-8 session package over 6-12 weeks is sufficient to ensure new habits that lead to weight loss are successfully installed. At the end of the day, we want to help our clients achieve their weight loss goals and will use all of our tools to help them achieve their vision of success!
